That would have been a tough play for anyone but not having a true OFer out there sucks

Pretty sure you would have made that play. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I think Morgan makes that play in RF. He is an above average defender though. Of course he really probably shouldn't start against LHP. I just wish we didn't have 3 1B on our team.

This must be bizarro Trip R the last couple nights. Another double switch.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Anyone else laugh when Brian was praising Yuni's patience and then said "just like that" as he laid off a slider a foot outside to work the count to 1-2?

Do the Nationals have a left handed pitcher warming? Otherwise, no reason for Almonte there.

haha, I said the same thing to my gf about that comment.

Then BA follows that up with the comment.. big pitch here, the pitcher doesn't want to work the count to full, when the count was 3-1 on Almonte.

WHY was Morgan not hitting for Almonte there?

For that matter, why are we still putting a lineup out with 4 guys who shouldn't be on a big league roster?

How predictable was Betencourt swinging at something that he wouldn't be able to reach with a 3' long bat?

It just seems like the Brewers as a whole refuse to admit that they have put together just a terrible bench.

WHY was Morgan not hitting for Almonte there?

And Kotsay was going to bat for the pitcher.

Nationals had lefty Sean Burnett warming up. That would've been a nice situation for a switch hitter, like Boggs. But we chose a career minor league scrub like Almonte over him.

I'm not watching the game, but I'm going to guess that if Morgan pinch hit for Almonte, the Nats would've brought in a lefty. Guess it depends on whether or not they had one warming up and whether or not RR knew that.

Their closer, Burnett, is a lefty and he was warming.

Plush lead off the 9th with a bunt single??

Does Braun get the game ball from Washington for that terrible throw? That is currently the difference in the game...
