get him out rr. before the game is over

The way Arroyo is pitching, 5 will probably be enough.

Yep. Change should have been made after the 4th ER.

Wow, it's amazing how the Brewers can go from looking like little leaguers to contenders back to little leaguers...I hope once Hart, Greinke, et. al come back we can get some consistency (as contenders).
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I'd be curious about the biggest losing splits a divisional winner had against a divisional opponent all time... what's the point of no return negative split wise? Is there any correlation between extreme negative splits against divisional opponents and winning the division? Or can you cancel out one extreme split with another? For example can the Brewers lose 70% of the games to the Reds but make up the difference beating the Pirates 70% of the time?

My hunch is that very rarely can you win the division with an extreme negative split against a team you are directly competing with, but I'd be curious what the historical numbers would say.

If Mitre isn't ready, why was he taken off the DL? Why is it impossible for a Brewers manager to know how to manage a pitching staff? When I win the powerball and buy the team from Mark A. for 465M, then this will be priority #1.

Too bad RR can't just wave the white flag and end the game. Our pen is screwed.

I miss Parra in games like these. He is always good to come in and pitch 4 or 5 and save the bullpen if need be.

This would be a good game for Counsell to throw an inning. Just need to save the pen for tomorrow and Wednesday at this point.

Until we figure out the mystery of the Reds, it's going to be tough to win this division.

Cool, still picture, right there of Gomez.

However, Bill forgot to point out one thing, and it's why I think Gomez will never be a good hitter, only a lucky one.

Look where his head and eyes are when he makes contact.

The good/great hitters... their head and eyes are right down there, watching the bat hit the ball. Their nose is pointing right at contact.

And it usually stays there as they follow thru. Same with hitting a golf ball.

Time for Uecker to say "we're just 2 grand slams away from taking the lead!"

Games like this happen. It's still early, and we do have a lot of firepower on offense (well at least some of our offense)
