Alright... another extra innings game. This has to be some kind of April record.

There's really no excuse to get picked off there (technically caught stealing). There's two outs so he's going to be running on contact so he doesn't need a big secondary lead.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Why not leave Axford in? He only threw 14 pitches and there is an off day tomorrow. I know he pitched yesterday, but if it took him 14 pitches to retire the first batter in the 9th would he have been pulled? No.

Ax threw 19-20 pitches last night, if I recall correctly. Maybe that made a difference to RRR.

Edit: getting less impressed with Meat Tray. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I'm not blaming Mitre here. RRR said himself he was rusty last night so why would you run him out there today in a tie game in the 10th. I see absolutely no reason why Ax could not have stayed in the game. If we go on to lose, for me its on Roenicke.
