I realize that 4 of the 5 homers tonight were solo shots, and I also realize that the power surge has to at least be partly contributed to that tiny little ballpark, but I don't care, it was AWESOME seeing the bats wake up from their primordial slumber and sock 5 big flys tonight.

D Backs losing 2-0 bottom 1

Furcal with a leadoff double in the 11th. Damn, I wish the Brewers had acquired him. We could have saved a lot of anxiety and frustration.

Gotta love September. In the PHI/STL game, it's Michael Schwimer pitching to Adron Chambers in the 11th.

St Louis takes the lead.

Gah, you'd think PHI would be motivated to clinch the division championship. Awesome, though, that C-Patt finally paid off for someone, if only temporarily.

Edit: OK, on the slight up side we have more time to look for the very best #6 photos.

I am actually preferring the Cardinals winning when the Braves are losing or have lost. I would rather have the Cardinals win the NL Wild Card as that means it guarantees a series against the Diamondbacks for the Brewers.

I have a bad feeling that the Cards are going to win their series.Well some good new the DBacks lost tonight . Go Phillies tomorrow Edited September 16, 2011 by brewmann04
