Of course because Roenicke had to get cute instead of just starting the inning with Ax, we've now depleted most of our bullpen with the possibility of extra innings.

Lol someone last page complained about warming Ax up.

We should use our best reliever in a game with 4 run leads in the 9th? One of the hardest jobs of a manager is to have the guts to not just manage for today.

Just like ARam was the cover of the Cubs Magazine after his walkoff in 2007 for 12 months, Starlin could be cover of next 12 months. This is not good...

Never let Parra or Dillard in if the game is within 8 runs.

Thats probably a good sign you might want to start searching for somebody better than those two. If you cant trust Parra to get a lefty out with a 4 run lead when can you trust the guy?

I can already tell Ramirez is going to frustrate me.

Props to Axford for finishing that one out. Call it a "character save" or some other fluff like that.

Too close for comfort. The defense really made tbis one harder than it had to be

This is a very good point

I know, small sample, but it does seem like there's quite a dropoff between the A-level of the bullpen and...the others.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Yep. That's pretty disappointing.

You may run like Mays...

Still booing Braun in the 9th. Ueck: "The fans here -- they love him! Hard to believe they're cheering that hard for someone who isn't on their team."

Closes with thanks for the condolences for his son.

As soon as Ax gets control of that slider/curveball, he'll be just fine. It would appear that tonight K-Rod could have his first chance at a save for the Crew. I am just a little worried about our middle relief though. 4 games is a small sample, but at the same time, there really hasn't been a bright spot yet.
