Prior to today's trade of Burke Badenhop to Boston, this was the last trade bewteen the Red Sox and Brewers, over 15 years ago:

 

07/31/98 -- Brewers acquired RHP Joe Hudson in exchange for INF Eddy Diaz

 

Hudson only appeared in one big league game for the Crew -- he allowed six runs, all earned, in 1/3 of an inning -- yikes!

 

From a Brewers perspective, now it's the Marlins by far, who have had the longest trade drought with the Crew, as you'll be able to see as each club is tracked in the post at the top of this thread. Prior to today, the Red Sox had the 2nd longest gap.

Dave Walkovic announced that Chris Leroux was sold to the Phillies today.

 

The need for pitching reinforcements at the Triple A level led the Phillies to acquire veteran right-hander Chris Leroux from Milwaukee in a cash deal on Monday.

 

That's the first trade between the clubs since this one nearly nine years ago:

 

Phillies (07/28/06) -- Acquired 3B David Bell in exchange for LHP Wilfrido Laureano

 

Leroux had been placed on the Sky Sox DL on 5/10 and was eligible to be activated.
