I'm not upset our 30 year 2B has lost a step in the last 5 years. It was a "tip your hat" play to Plouffe.

Seriously gameday? I can't mute your crappy audio ads anymore?

Sigh.

Braun bunting to lead off? Injured again??

Yeah that would be about the only explanation. But if that's the case why is he even in the game. Very odd and a waste of an AB.

Keep rolling Zackkk, I want to see a CG

If Morgan hits the cutoff man, we'd be out of this inning up 2.

Zach giving up hits in bunches. Morgan should have hit the cutoff man but its hard to know if they could have got a force out on the play up the middle.

Mauer owns Greinke.

Greinke's road splits again this year are much worse then at home.

Not like they were hitting him hard that inning.

Ummm...why didn't Gomez tag up on that?

So he could score if it drops. No big advantage to tagging up on that ball with already 1 out

The big advantage is the ability to score on a wild pitch. Also, that ball wasn't going to drop in front of the outfielder. It was going to go over his head, if anything, so Gomez would've scored easily even when tagging.

I never said drop in front. I said drops. Falls. Lands. Whatever. Off the bat the main goal is to score if its a hit. Your initial concern is not to tag to get to 3rd with 2 outs. And it wasn't immediately apparent that the ball was going to be caught. Revere was very deep.
