Yeah, that's the one I meant pitchleague. I was always thrown off when I read Garfield growing up and they referred to Nermal as "him" or "he". It always bothered me so I would change it in my mind to "her". Then I wondered why Garfield's pseudo-girlfriend never got mad that Nermal was always around and bothering Garfield.

 

I'm pretty sure if Jim Davis is trying to push off Nermal as a little boy, he needs a baseball cap or something. This has been bothering me all week since someone brought it up to me because I used to watch Garfield every Saturday morning and I had all the Garfield books.

No thanks, I've got $40k of my own, and it got me two degrees that have 0 value. I put a lot of money into getting degrees in music and religious studies. I feel both very smart and very stupid. My advice to any high-schoolers out there is to never follow your dreams if you can't handle living off pop-tarts.

Me too! Even better, I got a degree to teach religion and music in private schools, and I've only done exactly what I went to college for for only 1 year. But I've become OK with that. I'm at least putting my education to some use, I think.

I went to Wal-Mart here in Sheboygan this morning, and wow were there some strangely dressed people. I expect the usual Pack garb (as well there should be), but there were people with faces painted, and camoflauge hunting pants and jerseys. When will people learn?

Good gracious it's beautiful here today in Portland. I haven't seen a more beautiful view of the mountains - especially Mt. St. Helens & Mt. Hood - than is visible today. I wish I had a good camera so I could share!
