Oh, thread, I missed you. Let's not let six days pass between updates anymore, OK?
When's the last time Brewerfan.net was so happy to see the faces of Ronnie Belliard, Marc Newfield, and Dave Krynzel? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Please Brewers/Cardinals, let's not let another week pass before we post here again. Actually, let's not let any more days pass!! Go Pirates!

Don't know where to post this. But would it be better if the Cardinals somehow overtook the Braves (but obviously not the Brewers) and won the Wild Card? The Crew would then get to play Arizona and home or away I would like the odds.

Yeah this has been discussed. Basically anything would be better than having to go to Philly to start the 1st round.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

The Brewers just need to take care of business and win some games. Frankly, I don't think the schedule is that 'easy'. In particular, I worry about the next 5 games. The Brewers have historically been pretty bad against Colorado, and the Reds are still a dangerous team. Even the series at Wrigley is going to be tough. The Cubs have been playing better lately as well. The D-Backs have a pretty easy schedule down the stretch (Pirates, Padres, the fading Giants and the Dodgers 6 times- but likely only getting Kershaw once, etc.), so I think that it will be a challenge to stay ahead of them.
