hopefully he can get off to a good start. His past starts have been underwhelming lately

That said, he did battle back after that tough 1st inning against the Yankees go give us a shot to win that game (which we did)

Still... Only 3 of his 8 starts have been "Quality Starts" Hopefully we can make it 4/9 today!

Historically May has been his worst month and he gets considerably better post AS-Break (3.15 ERA versus 3.99 pre-AS Break)

Gomez is a late scratch, still with the back, Herrera leading off seggy 6 and Schafer 7 in CF

I would like to see the Garza we paid for today. He has been pretty underwhelming thus far and definitely the weak link in the rotation. Obviously he still has the talent to be a major asset the last 4+ months of the season and hopefully that starts today.

If Gomez was in there that would have been the nicest lineup we have fielded in a long time. Still better than the last couple weeks though. It will fee awfully weird if and when RR can finally have Gomez, Segura, Braun, Ramirez, and Lucroy all in the same lineup

Davey Nelson is just painful to watch/listen to. Seems like a real nice guy but he just doesn't seem cut out for TV.

I think he's just bad enough that he actually is cut out for TV - because Brewers fans find his mumbling and stumbling humorous and even endearing. If he was just a little better at what he does, I'm not sure he'd still be around

I've had the game on for about 2 minutes total and I've already heard Brian say "as a matter of fact" three times. Shut up.

Herrera showed no hussle tracking down that ball in the corner. Maybe he wanted to allow the runners to score easily so he wouldn't have to make a strong throw and embarrass himself again.

I still don't understand why Gindl was sent down and Herrera is up here.

Games far from over guys. The Brewers will win this one.
