This has been a weirdly unlucky game. Most, if not all, of the Rockies hits have been bloops or weak grounders. And then you've got the injuries to Segura (looks like just leg cramps) and Gomez (hopefully nothing serious on the collision). On the plus side, the offense has done its job (hopefully they can tack on a couple more though.)

The numbers aren't going to bear it out, but I think that was one of the better games I've seen Garza pitch with the Brewers.

Gomez with a neck strain the night after hitting his head on the basepaths...might need a day or two off but hopefully that's all. Segura left with leg cramps...doesn't sound too serious, either.

I'm guessing Gomez with a day off tomorrow, and subsequently Figaro down and Schafer (if he's been down long enough) or Gindl up. I think Gindl has played CF, right?

Was at this one yesterday...had a great time and got to see some friends we hadn't seen in a couple years. Great win. Glad to hear Gomez's injury doesn't sound too serious. It was a pretty scary moment for a little bit with how slow he was to get up.
