That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I'm really enjoying watching Jimmy this year. Often, he is close to dominant but has one inning that gives him fits. But still pretty minimal damage (especially lately).

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

That run is completely on Braun. He could've easily caught that double but didn't even run for it

Lots of double plays tonight
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Braun needs to sit. He's absolutely useless at the plate right now.

The guy just cannot stay healthy.

Nice hustle by He Who Can Not Be Spelled Correctly

You can't spell Kirk? :tongue

I don't know why Knebel wasn't pulled after Loney reached. Smith was warm, Cabrera up. I don't want to get on CC's case here but that was a total no-brainer from where I'm sitting.

Yeah, Counsell didn't manage the pen well tonight.

I really don't even know why Knebel is a guy who should be guaranteed a roster spot coming back from injury.

Kind of funny that Loney got an error on that play. He made the perfect throw but Colon was too slow to get where he needed to be.

Colon beat the batter to first. The throw was hard, high, and off target.

Also, loved that they had a mound meeting after to let him catch his breath

I saw things differently. Here's a fun pic after the ball ticked off Colon's glove, courtesy of espn http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/photos?gameId=360609108&photoId=5528154

The only shot they had to get Braun was for Loney to lead Colon to the bag with the throw but he couldn't get there.
