I'm disappointed in the top of the 10th, but I'm still not sure how much more people wanted in the 9th. Yes, Santana striking out sucked, but Bandy drilled one and got robbed, then Perez lined one right at Belt. It's not like all three guys struck out or hit pop-ups. It was frustrating, but I'm not going be all, "OMG the Brewers hitters totally blew it, totally choked!"

 

Agreed. It's tough to be mad at Santana these days and Bandy/Perez hit the ball hard.

 

It's that bullpen that is the issue. Again, and it's only going to get worse as the innings pile up.

That play was the sun. That said he is a first basemen and should only be there in an emergency. In theory.

You say the Santana strikeout as an aside like it wasn't a really big deal in that inning, especially when he swung at Ball 4.

 

Gotta try to get one in the air. Or if you're not confident, try a squeeze or something different.

 

This happens way too often to this team to attribute it to just darn old rotten luck.
