So, that ball to Thames was ruled a triple? Huh. Anytime a ball gets by an outfielder and runners move up because of it, it should be an error, even if the guy tries to make a great play and it gets by him (even moreso if the guy gets a bad break on it). Even a single and a 2 base error would be better than ruling it a triple.

- Sogard: MiLB free agent

- Arcia: Latin America signed and developed

- Perez: Waiver wire pickup. Waived a couple times by Brewers

- Thames: FA signing from KBO after three years in Korea

- Maverick: Centerpiece of a trade with Houston

- Santana: Included with Maverick

- Guerra: Waiver wire pickup from White Sox

 

Add in Broxton and Braun as major contributors for the season, but that is the team that has us in first place.
