Does Villar score there from 1st?

For being off the wall, he came up with it quite cleanly in center. We know Send 'Em Sedar tries it, but if the relay is there they'd have a shot at him. Steal left no doubt.

Philadelphia's announcers tonight have been spending a lot of time talking about the different batting approaches that Arcia has. His stance and leg kick with less than two strikes in the count is different than when he has two strikes. Apparently the leg kick is much less when he has two strikes. They were wondering if he would be more successful with the two-strike approach consistently. Have the Milwaukee announcers picked up on this at all?

I was wondering this too. His HR last night came with 2 strikes with no leg kick. He seems to switch his approach constantly.

With the bases empty why not give Jimmy 1 more batter to get through 7? Pitched well enough to deserve a shot at the win if the crew can score in the bottom half

If he wanted the win he should not have given up the HR. Managing for the stat line of your players is not smart

I thought it was really odd. Bases empty, two outs, Nelson at only 96 pitches, having a good night, and gets pulled for another right hander.

CC musta saw something? Or he was really upset with the HR two batters earlier?

Pulling Nelson is double as odd if you are only going to let Drake pitch to one batter. Seems like a waste of a reliever in a tie game.

I can see the hook. Drake is basically a right-handed LOOGY with his splits, so the match-ups for the next two batters were pretty favorable.

Barnes gets some luck and gets out of walking two batters. Let's score a dang run!
