Have yall missed that Villar has been hot lately? 284/350 this month and 392/433 since Aug 10. And I remember few good ABs/hits down lines that were just foul. I know the year has been awful but he's been fine of late yet and his approach has been better. At this point he needs to get a hit every time up though to satisfy people.

Hopefully Garza has that out of the system and can get to 5 or 6 inning and just 2 or 3 runs, I'll take it.

Regardless of what happens this inning, this should be the end of the line for Garza. His spot is due up anyways, use a PH and give us more offense. We can't let guys see him a 3rd time, that would be really really bad.

This is a must win game as far as I'm concerned. We'll most likely get swept this weekend.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Bellinger is on the DL so their offense is compromised and we miss Ryu and Hill and Wood and Kershaw are on the DL. Probably looking at Maeda who doesn't go deep into games, Brock Stewart and some rookie or Darvish coming off the DL for their rotation. The Dodgers are not going to be anywhere near 100% for this series.

Great start moore lol.

One of the leagues worst pitchers could argue the worst if ya want.

I guess if you try to pull straight fastballs all day off the corner any pitcher would look good, are the players oblivious to what Domingo and Shaw did in the first?

We're in the bottom of 5th and Garza still hanging tough.

Wiggled outta some jams..

Wouldnt push my luck w him..but who else do you put out there...

How about that. 5 innings and 1 run. Pitch count is low enough to give the 6th a try. Who'd have thunk that during the first. Top of the order up, get 2 on the board.

Barnes is warming up. When's the last time he did not give up at least one run?

He hasn't allowed a run in his last 6 outings.......... :laughing

There's no way that can be right.

Uh... his last five appearances.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Look it up if you don't believe me. A 5 second google search would have prevented you from looking foolish.

Love all the negativity towards Villar and especially Garza. Works five innings allowing only a run. It's what a 5th starter does. Nice job boys.
