Almora is in the lineup only because he can hit lefties and he bunts. Now he was trying to bunt for a hit but still, you have a runner on 2nd with no outs and the top of your order up. That's not the time to bunt.

Santana is playing his way to Colorado Springs. A few singles and bad defense isn't going to keep him in RF.

It's a shame because he was one of my favorite Brewers coming into the year, but so far he has seriously regressed this year. Hopefully he'll turn it around soon on offense, but he'll never be good with the glove. Probably belongs in the AL.

It'll be really fun when his stat line is something like 5IP - 3R - 7H - 3BB :laughing

5IP - 2R - 5H - 1BB - 3K

But he sucks.

You actually undersold him!

Great. That'll gave CC the ammo to say "I told you so" and give him three more starts of craptastic pitching.

I'd rather be running Woodruff out there and send Suter down to stay stretched out. But, if that means we don't just hand Miley a starting spot for a month and a half regardless of how he pitches, I can be almost be okay with this.

Does craptastic = effectively crappy? I think that's actually a pretty good description of Suter's stuff LOL

That should be all we need for runs today. W
LOL...actually Darvish is virtually untouchable his first time thru the lineup. 2nd time: not so much... 3rd time: HR Derby time.

Teams hitting over .600 3rd time thru.

You just came here to jinx us big time with these type of comments.

Well at least Darvish is out of there next inning.

Darvish against the Brewers - 12 IP, 1 ER (0.75 ERA), 3 BB, 17 K

Darvish against everyone else - 13.2 IP, 14 ER (9.22 ERA), 10 BB, 12 K

Hope Williams can find consistent release on that slider. He could be a really, really good bullpen pitcher with that movement combined with his fastball.

Perez is so frustrating. He has to show he can lay off that pitch. It is automatic in an 0-2 or 1-2 count, ans he loves flailing at it.

Going to have to get to the Cub BP. At least make them use their good relievers again.

Anderson did his job, Suter's done his job, Williams just did his... how bout yours offense?
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
