Not that I want this AT ALL, but could you imagine the haul we could get if we traded Hader? He’s an absolute savage and shut down relievers are in such high demand nowadays.

No way.

No freaking way.

Hader, Jeffress, and Knebel are the 2018 version of the Nasty Boys.

This is the trio that wins us Game 7 of the World Series against the Red Sox.

Did he take notes from aguilar and long at bats?

Cleveland's defense has been surprisingly bad.

One negative here is Hader has been sitting on the bench quite a while. Hopefully it won’t matter.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

That was not a strike

Why do you think this? TV pitch track and my phone app had it hitting plenty of the plate.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Anyone concerned that teams are starting to hit Hader pretty hard? Up to this point there’s been some great plays to snag liners, but are teams figuring him out?

Hangs sliders to righties here and there.

Yeah I don’t think that one missed anywhere.

That many pitches, he had to sit fastball. Got frozen and he got it across the plate.

TV had it right on the edge, but the mark was right where it hit the glove, not where it crossed. Looked like it looped the plate to me

Nah. There’s nothing to figure out, Hader isn’t complex and they know what to expect. Occasionally he’ll hang a slider or get behind and get too much of the plate with a fastball and get hit hard if they’re sitting on it. Happens, just like it could to any power reliever.

This isn't Nintendo - as awesome as Hader has been mlb hitters are going to occasionally square him up. Particularly rh hitters when they get a slider strike to hit.

Hader developing a better change up would be great to combat that, but honestly a third pitch would be gravy for his role at this point.
