Why is Anderson still in the game? He takes out guys with 85 pitches when they’re doing well and Anderson is clearly struggling with 100+ pitches and he leaves him in to face Machado? I don’t get it. Just put in Burnes

He cruised through the the last 3 innings. Walked the pitcher and then had Saladino boot a double play ball for an error.

I know I’ll be accused of hindsight, but Anderson was such a clear sell-high guy to me this past offseason. I know Brewers fans would’ve had a meltdown, but the guy has been a #4/5 starter for all but a few months in 2017. Anyone thinking he’s a centerpiece to a contending rotation is kidding themselves imo.

To finish this year even, he’s the equivalent of trading for a bullpen arm. Mid season acquisition without giving anyone up.
