Then Counsell so focused on saving Hader/Jeffress is going to blow through both of them today even though his starter has mostly cruised through 6 innings. Not even give Chacin one batter...but Lyles has a whole second inning no matter the struggle.

I've defended CC on the pen management and I really don't have a problem with him in general but it does seem the bullpen usage has become more and more strange as the season has progressed. I can't argue against those that have an issue with it.
