Also, i half expected them to award suarez third base after they talked about it.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

They needed two solid pitching performances. Guerra and Peralta instead laid two large, rotten eggs.

It's time to end this "bullpenning" crap and put your best starting pitching candidates in the rotation. That means Burnes and, yes, likely Hader

Last place in team era after the break and today Stearns is on the radio saying nothing to see here. We have enough. No problem. We need a 30 for 30 episode to go behind the scenes of the collapse.

That they are. I heard this somewhere and it applies.

It’s like when Lucy keeps pulling the football away from Charlie Brown but he keeps falling for it. Every year we fall for it. Damn near every year it’s the same thing.

I feel a rally to 9 runs coming on.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

At the very least I am hoping that Counsell will be forced to shake up his staff at the end of this. Having your best friend as bench coach for one should end. Coles and Sedar for sure gone. Johnson should stay but everyone else should be changed out. My opinion.

I would seriously be on board with the "throw a fastball and the catcher purposely miss it" play. That guy deserves it.

It was the first base umpires call.

Yeah, but hitting him with a pitch it REAL obvious.

Tomorrow then. All 4 of them should have figured that out though, I bet even the Reds thought he should be out.

How does Craig not get tossed. Seriously, you just laid down and took it. You gave up. You're a joke.

I'm normally not one that wants to see any manager big-timing the umpires, but in this case I agree 100%. This team could use more fire in the belly right now, and what a clear opportunity to make a show of things.

But he just accepted it. I know a tantrum wouldn't had changed the call, but migod, light it up Craig.

Any coach that gets his own bobblehead day isn't going anywhere.

Perhaps Schoop doesn't suck after all?

Yeah, he never did. Just a rough transition is all.

Schoop is 6 for his last 16 with 3 HR. Can we maybe stop riding him for one night? He is far from our biggest problem right now.
