I wonder how much of Jordan Zimmerman's contract Detroit would eat if we offered them a decent prospect?

And what do we do with him in 2019 and 2020?

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yah, now we can feel better about Schoop. Now we gave up prospects for a guy to pop homers while we spiral down the toilet.

He is going to need to do a lot more than have a good two weeks to make that deal look good...and actually winning games would be step one.

Good thing we have him next year too. Always love a GM that thinks down the road too.

Schoop is 6 for his last 16 with 3 HR. Can we maybe stop riding him for one night? He is far from our biggest problem right now.

I agree. Just play him every day from here on out and see what he can do. Problem is where? Short I guess?

We've given up 10 runs. What is anyone in this lineup supposed to do when you give up 10 runs?

This may be your best post ever.

Ride him as our #2 to back-to-back WS championships, of course!

*partially blue, but just because I've always like Zim.

Dude gets hit in the face by a pitch and all Rock says is, "It was a slider though."

His point was it could have been a *lot* worse

That’s the point though. Acquiring him isn’t really a good thing if we can’t actually win game.

Perhaps Schoop doesn't suck after all?

Yeah, he never did. Just a rough transition is all.

Notice how the Schoop haters are suddenly silent?

I said how weird it is they brought the guy in and he's hardly in the lineup it seems. Let dude play.

At nearly $10mil. At that price he better be hitting better than his career average.
