Agree. The suspense on Gio is killing me. Is he the stalwart we’ve seen for years and the start of the year, or is he the train wreck from the last three months?

 

If he finishes strong, I could see trying to re-sign him for a deal commensurate with a 33 year old.

Cubs in another rain delay. Hopefully MLB forces them to play all 3 games this weekend. Would love for that DH to get pushed to tomorrow.

 

Knowing the big market bias though, they'll probably allow that final CHC-WAS game to be played (if necessary) later in the season.

Definitely happy to see GG looking good so far, but let's temper our expectations. He's facing the Giants. It's definitely better that he's pitching well than struggling, but his stuff today makes me a bit nervous for when he faces better hitting teams. Not a ton there. Location is good but stuff is lacking...
