Never would have imagined that Santana would be a total roster afterthought this year.

Same. I really like Santana, but this year surely gives me pause.

+1. Would have bought a lot of that stock after last year.

If Knebel is back he increases our World Series odds dramatically. Soria, Hader, Jeffress, and Knebel? With all the off days if that pen is on all cylinders in October you could ride them a loooooong way.

Burnes may be working into that group but I'm not sure about Peralta out of the pen yet.

Carpenter led of the 9th with an infield hit, and Marcel Ozuna just tied it up with a 2-out, 2-run homer. UGH!!!

Candelario two days straight?

Ozuna ties the Cardinal game with a 2-out, 2-run homer in the top of the 9th...

Unbelievable. You gotta give it to them, they always seem to be so good in the clutch somehow.

"That ain't Chuckie's game. Chuckie hacks on 2-0."

And Soria may be working himself out of that group.

Chris Carpenter error puts winning run on second to start the bottom of the 9th in Detroit.

Matt Carpenter. Chris is at home trying to explain to his kids about the Brewers's antics in violation of The Cardinal Way.
