Playoff Tickets-Lottery?

I used to only do paper tickets, but electronic has been quite easy. However, I always take a screenshot before hand and send it to people I'm with. Just in case something happens.

Oldschool - I was just teasing when I mentioned you not having to worry about it next year. Enjoy your tickets!

Let me explain something to you Rick.

SSH are the ones who assume the risk. They pay the Brewers every season without knowing if the team is any good, while you sit by and take on nothing. Four times in 40 years, they've been rewarded for doing that.

IMO, what they choose to do beyond that is up to them, not you.

It's really simple. If you want to be in the position to decide what to do with a playoff strip, become a SSH. Why haven't you done that? You must not be a very loyal fan. See how stupid that sounds?

Let me explain something to you...

A poor Brewers fan sells out to Cubs fans for playoff games. It is a crime against sport itself and the rest of Brewers fans. If you want to set up a pole and vote on this, please do. Landslide. You know the right answer. The Brewers, themselves, are pleading season ticket holders not to resell and have done about as much with digital tickets as they can to prevent massive amounts of tickets to get into Cubs fans hands. In other words, the team is calling you out without saying that to you directly. Bad business. They really don't trust you with inventory.

You deserve credit for being a season ticket holder, though. I can't afford it; that's why I am not anymore (although I once was a 20 game Season ticket holder). Season ticket holders are great fans and are expected to be great fans. Again, I'm not telling you to not recoup money by selling......, just why not sell to Brewers fans? I'm speaking on behalf of the silent majority.

Last warning, guys. Next time a mod has to step into this thread people will get some time off during the most exciting week of Brewers baseball in years.

I've just opted for ignore on Captain Ticket Police, but he has been doing that schtick since before the season began and doing it CONSTANTLY. I don't even sell tickets unless I can't go, but I find it beyond annoying on principle and he is oddly obsessed with it and brings it up at every chance.

Thanks and sorry I probably didn't sense the sarcasm

I think someone asked this earlier in the thread but I didn't see an answer. Anyone know what a "Brewers Insider" is? I see they get a chance at tickets on Wednesday ahead of the Wisconsin presale.

I just got an e-mail that had my account number included. If you go to the Brewers post season site at 10 today and enter your account it should let you buy tickets.

I'm not exactly sure what I did to become a Brewers Insider, so unfortunately I'm very little help, but I did receive the same email. For those expecting it...it did show up in the "Promotions" folder of my Gmail account, so I had to do some digging. If you're expecting it, but don't have it, check all other folders in your account.

Hopefully this helps atleast 1 person.

It looks like the Brewers Insider is anyone who's purchased tickets directly from the team before. The email includes your account number is why I think that's the case. It's the same # as my SSH account and I got the same email.

I also noticed they added communication and bolded it about the checkout process.

Well thanks to the Brewers storming back into the divisional race I will have to buy both games 1 and 2 for the NLDS because I don't know if their weekend game is hypothetically on a Friday or Sunday now. If they win the division it will be a mad dash from eastern Iowa to get there on time.

This is a nice problem to have.

So if I bought tickets directly from the team this year should I have received an email by now?

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how many were available. I prefer second deck seats due to the view and the price point makes it ok for even non diehard friends who might say No if the cost was $120. Got them all no problem. thanks to those who pointed out the "add additional events". I think I would've noticed it but there's a chance I'd have messed it up.

I couldn't decide where to sit and ended up with the biggest mess in my shopping cart. Which was problematic when I went to the final check out and noticed I had two different sets of tickets for Game 1 of the NLDS. I didn't really want extra tickets to sell, but just kept both instead of restarting and risk worse seats.

I got Johnsonville Party Deck tickets for the first game as I thought they were a solid deal.

If that is what an Insider is, yeah.

Apparently it is not!

Didn't buy any more but the WC game is definitely the most scarce. Best available had FIB for all sections for the NLDS, for the WC I got Terrace 434

What is FIB?

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Didn't it have a limit of 4 per person for each game? I probably would've bought more if I could or knew. I didn't think of the party areas either, probably would've been cool to do. But playoffs I'll be kind of more focused on the game so IDK.

I was only intending on buying two so both sets equaled the four maximum.

What is FIB?

Field infield box, not a special section for Cubs fans.

Tough to tell the actual availability since you've got a lot of people pulling tickets to see what's available, holding them in their cart and then not buying.

Was a little late to logging in today and just got 4 Terrace Box seats for the Wild Card and NLDS game 1 in 430 and 432 respectively. Looking forward to it.

I released mine immediately, but I think that's likely. I imagine many search best available and then are surprised when it's something more expensive than what they want.

Just got two for home game 2 of NLDS. Section 333. I'm not a season ticket holder. Higher than I like to sit, but still think they are good seats. Does anyone know what it's like up there?
