2018-09-26: Brewers (Chacín) at Cardinals (Gant) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 2-1 -- Postseason Spot Clinched! Let the Champagne Fly!]

[Fear The Chorizo]

part of me wants the Pirates to take the lead here...part of me wants to take this game to around 16 innings and have the Pirates win it at around 1:30 am.

[B-Train]

This is one hell of a sweet night of baseball.

If Lirates can pull out the win.

No doubt in my mind.

[FVBrewerFan]

Baseball is boring

[MrTPlush]

What a crippling loss this would be for the Cubs...absolutely crushing.

[YelichPosse]

Josh Bell lets go you’ve been a pain in our you know what... do it to the cubs !

[TURBO]

There are going to be some wrecked cell phones. Harumph!!

:D

And some wrecked lungs as some of the players are dragging on their stogies like its an unfiltered camel.

Coach Cooper always says to save the stogies for the big moments, but smoke unfiltered marlboros like there is no tomorrow, each and every day.

[topper09er]

Baseball is boring

Awwwwkkttuuuaalllllllllly, baseball is just a series of random events and everything is luck based so. Everything that happens in any given game is meaningless noise

[brewmann04]

CONGRATS TO THE BREWERS AND BREWERS NATION WE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS

[YelichPosse]

Darn it. At least burning the good part of the pen tonight!!

[B-Train]

Technically the Brewers clinched a playoff spot before the Cubs did, correct?

[jjfanec]

Yelich has had his mvp moments. Baez gets a chance at one right here

[YelichPosse]

Technically the Brewers clinched a playoff spot before the Cubs did, correct?

By winning we also clinched for the Cubs.

[Fear The Chorizo]

Darn it. At least burning the good part of the pen tonight!!

I don't think there is a good part anymore

[YelichPosse]

I agree. How about the better 50%? Lol

[Eye Black]

What a crippling loss this would be for the Cubs...absolutely crushing.

Ever since the David Bote walk-off grand slam against the Nationals with two outs in the bottom of the 9th I have been waiting for the Universe to course correct. Hopefully that happens tonight.

[wallus]

Good effort tonight Phillies.

True. Simultaneous result, but I want bragging rights over all my Cub fan “friends”. Clinching first would be one way of hopefully many to get under their skin.

Javy to put his stamp on MVP race?

[FVBrewerFan]

Coach Cooper always said champaign is for sipping, not dousing on people. Come to think of it, he said Blatz and it was for slamming.

[PinaMadness]

Good effort tonight Phillies.

I think the Phillies have just quit for the season. Not even the Orioles would get blown out for an entire series.

[Ennder]

Javy to put his stamp on MVP race?

Swinging at a pitch 3 feet of the plate, yep.

[PinaMadness]

The MVP "front runner" just struck out.

[Eye Black]

Javy to put his stamp on MVP race?

Or a strikeout while swinging out of his shoes then chasing.

[SRB]

Horrific swing and miss by Baez

[topper09er]

Baez just showed off his most valuable strikeout on a pitch in the dirt of the other batters box
