Watching a baseball is so strange these days. You have so many innings where a ball is never even put into play. So strange. How do defenders stay on their toes??

I think that triple against DW stunned out OF. "Wait... he hit a ball?"

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

It almost seems like the path of Hiuras bat through the zone is the same regardless of where the pitch goes....

Watching Hiura hit is as frustrating an experience as I've had since Rickie Weeks. Incredible bat speed both but both appear to have a hole in the bat. It really is unbelievable.

Cardinals lost tonight, so with a win tonight the Brewers could pull within one game of the 2nd place automatic qualifier for the playoffs.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

It really seems like he's trying to launch one 450 feet every time he swings. I think be has it in his head that he's a major power hitter. I mean, he's going to get his homers, but his big selling point when drafted was his ability to put the bat on the ball.

I am always nervous when Hader enters a game... Just seems like he is on the edge with every appearance. I'm all for trading him if we can get the right haul. I just don't have a lot of confidence in him.

Contreras calls down to 1B on himself on the check swing strikeout?

What a terrible at bat for Huira

What ANOTHER terrible at bat for Hiura

I’m convinced ... he needs glasses

Yes I said this as well. He doesn't appear able to pick the ball up well at all. I don't know how a major league player can not have his vision checked by the club in spring training but it has happened.

It’s starting to feel like it’s going to take a home run to put a run on the board.

This is why CC put Sogard in. He leads the league in walk-off HRs you know...

The Brewers and Cubs have combined for 27 k's this game. So 50% of the outs so far if the Brewers don't K in the bottom of the 9th.
