Wow, this might be a day we get a triple play, lose the game, and still make the playoffs with a record under .500. What a year.

Well we have the answer to “how could this game get any worse?” after the Vogelbach apparent hamstring injury.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Astros are going to make the playoffs at 29-31 unless they make a big comeback, and they talked on TV about the 81 KC Royals being under .500 for the whole season when they won the second half title to get into a division series.

 

The bottom line is that screwed up seasons produce screwed up results.
