Does that ball not hit out of bounds right before he picks that up?

One angle I thought for sure that was true. Another..it wasn't so clear.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

When Tonyan stopped to avoid the hit, my heart jumped into my mouth... I thought for sure he gave up a sure 1st down to try to gain more yardage and was going to get tackled behind the 1st down.

A win against Carolina Saturday and a Saints loss to the Chiefs and we are in the driver's seat for the #1 seed at the end of the regular season.

Aren't we in the drivers seat now?

I think we’re all nervous about the Titans game and think we need one more Saints loss...

Yep. This lousy team is now the #1 seed in the playoffs.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm already chalking up the Titans game as a loss. I would like a 1.5 game lead after next week.

OK, yeah but I would say we will be 3-4 point favorites in that game and 8-9 in the other 2. And at 4 losses I think other teams would be in play? Just win out...

How is the half accomplished mathematically? A tie?

Titans defense is not very good.

Saints play KC next week.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Ideally you win out, of course. But if the Packers lose to the Titans AND a Saints loss to KC (or Minnesota), the Packers clinch the #1 seed unless they fail to win 2 of the 3. That's with Seattle or Rams winning out (of whoever wins their head to head week 16)

Aside from Rodgers, I thought MVS was the player of the game.

He had some clutch possession-receiver type catches, a couple were really nice contested ones that forced him to use his hands and not his body. I loved seeing it—if he can consistently make those plays, this offense is among the best in football and can hang with anyone. If they can get the running game going, look out.

The only thing that would stop them is defense and special teams... :(
