Reid’s game plan and Mahomes’ execution have been dog doo-doo. Yeah, so KC is down a couple tackles. It’s the nfl, stuff happens. When they’ve run the ball, they’ve been good, but instead they keep forcing the pass. The shine is coming off the juggernaut tonight in a big way.

I’ve never been sure if the 2014 team would have beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl, I think that’s a toss-up. But I will now go to my grave believing beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 2020 Packers win this game against Kansas City. This really was Rodgers’ last best chance.

I just don't understand how you can say the Packers are better than the Bucs. they destroyed us the first game and were the better team two weeks ago. They easily have more talent, especially in the front seven and receiver. OL and secondary are the only positions we have a decided advantage.

Umm lol no. Green Bay's defense isn't even half as good as Tampa Bay's is. The Packers wouldn't have been able to take away Hill like Tampa has. Tampa has actually taken out all of the Chiefs WR's Green Bay couldn't have done that. Also Tampa's pass rush is far better than Green Bay's.

 

It is a completely different game if it is Packers vs Chiefs.

Speaking only for myself, I don’t at all think Tampa was the better team two weeks ago. Their pass rush played better than our offensive line, and that plus two unforced errors (one strongly aided by referee malpractice) was the difference in the game. But our QB played decisively better, and we won the turnover battle and dominated time of possession. Those are all marks of superior teams. But results did not match process, thanks largely to Mike Pettine’s brain fart. So here we are. But I am not disputing Tampa’s front 7, they’re great. But Green Bay was better and should have won that game, and anyone is going to have a hard time convincing me otherwise.

First game=too long ago to be relevant. Two weeks ago, the key decisive plays were coaching or officiating gaffes mainly. I feel that the Packers lost to a team they should not have lost to that day.

Tampa's defense the last two games has faced teams without their starting Pro-Bowl LTs. Makes the pass rush quite a bit easier.

The Packers could have scored 50 points on this team. Given they are the Packers they would still probably lose 55-52.

 

I dunno that the Packers were better than Tampa, but they could certainly play with them and KC could not. I will say that touchdown at the end of the first half will haunt me for a long time. It likely was the difference between a 5th Super Bowl title and not even playing the game.

 

Tampa earned it though. An awesome front 7.

Tampa is great, but they lost 5 games this year. It's not like they were infallible. They gelled and got hot at the right time. Sometimes, that's all it takes. Congratulations to them. We'll never know if we would have won today because we didn't make enough plays two weeks ago to get the opportunity. Maybe next year.

Tampa Bay has some annoying dudes, but it isn’t like the Chiefs didn’t have a list of lame players too. One of their biggest stars is Tyreek Hill and after their coaches situation days before the Super Bowl I can’t say I’m sad the Chiefs got absolutely destroyed yesterday.
