Haven't seen this confirmed anywhere else, any guesses?

Could maybe be they extended a player like Adames or Burnes? Or Counsell? Or something non-game related like some community intiative?

So a Packer owns part of the Bucks, a Buck owns part of the Brewers and Brewers own part of the Admirals?

Off-topic question...if Giannis decided he wanted to pull an MJ and play baseball, how good would he be two years from now?

Great at robbing home runs probably, really big strike zone though.

Put him at first, Urias throwing issues solved.

Cool news. I love that these guys all seem to support one another.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It's a cool gesture that really doesn't mean anything to the success of the team or the fan experience.

Right, I always find it fun when Milwaukee/Wisconsin teams support each other. Queue Bahktiari slamming beers at Bucks games.

It means more to the success of the Bucks if it keeps him here for another contract.

Which it probably won't, but it can't hurt.

It's good for the city when local athletes put money back into the community, like Junior Bridgeman and Hank Aaron, who ran successful businesses in Milwaukee after they retired. I believe Ben Sheets also bought part ownership of the Admirals a few years ago.

Increase the payroll

Brewers franchise value looks to be 1.2 billion.

Let's say for the sake of easy math that Giannis bought 1% for 12 million.

He just paid JBJ's salary.

Thanks Giannis!!

I think he'd be horrible

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
