It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be "better than the status quo" which should be quite easy to accomplish.

Technology has revolutionized society and led to tremendous social progress. I don't think it's foolish to expect that it can do the same for baseball by making the strike zone more accurate and uniform. It's hard to do a worse job than MLB umps nowadays are....
