I think Willy could made it.

I think the Brewers are taking the conservative approach with Willy on the bases after his high ankle sprain on a slide into home plate awhile ago that kept him out of the lineup for 2-3 weeks.

I get why they didn’t send him, good arm and not that deep, but runs are tough to come by, I would have sent him

You have to take a shot on that with a man on 3rd and 1 out in a pitcher's dual. Come ON.

Perhaps the fact that Adames got injured at home plate earlier in the year played a role in the no-send...

It was a bad throw to be honest.  It was to high and down the line.  The catcher wouldn’t have been able to make a tag on that throw in time.

Got to go ride the fence, but I predict that Hiura does something (reverse split and all) and Counsell continues to be mystified by it all.

There you go, I’ve been hoping him getting the start tonight is Counsell being unmystified

O'Neil Cruz is gonna be fun to watch.

Yep. If he can make enough contact, he's going to be a perennial all-star for the Pirates. Though, I'm not sure about his ability to stick at SS at that height...He's got the cannon though.

Honestly, the height, the hair and the cannon....that's enough for me :)
