We should have traded for Cruz too.

Stearns just penciled in a trade of Lauer and Weimer for Nelson Cruz during the winter meetings.

I meant Oneil Cruz, but that works too.

On the verge of losing 4 in a row to the Pirates...

And only a few days after being on the verge of the playoffs being a given.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Dude. I didn't make the comment. Quit it. Your act is so tiring.

I don't understand what anyone's saving Taylor Rogers for....

Would you really want to have all of the recent pickups lit up in one game?

This team is in disarray. Front office has to be held accountable oh wait Stearns wants to leave so there goes that.

Perhaps a change at GM and manager is in order this coming offseason.  What a colossal waste of a great rotation.

Stearns can take off to the Mets in the off-season for all I care.

Honestly I feel the same way. As good of moves that he has made, he hasn’t done anything to improve the team since 2018, when we had our best window in over 35 years to have a chance at a World Series. He did absolutely nothing to improve the offense to a point where we had a more-balanced team. While he made the team competitive, it will be a failure in my eyes, especially after how this trade deadline was handled.

It would be hilarious if we never held a lead or were tied in the 8th or 9th for the rest of the season so Rogers would never pitch for us.

I didn’t say you did make it, but you sure defended it vigorously when I pointed out how premature it was.

I feel like we are heading for second in the division. Free falling, now I'm free falling.

I did not defend it "vigorously". I pointed out how you may have been misunderstanding it. BTW here you go blowing up the game thread again....We would all appreciate it if you would just stop.

He will be the big offseason signing of 2035.

The one that Mark has to "stretch the budget for."

Bases loaded, two outs. C’mon on, Big Willy.
