You're hard to please. Before his last outing against the Dodgers, Woodruff went 6/7 quality innings in 6 out of his last 7 starts....

And if you don't think that Burnes is an ace, then you don't know baseball. Literally the best pitcher in baseball since 2020.

I am hard to please.

If guys are supposed to be among the best in baseball mere “quality starts” of giving up 2 or 3 runs in 6 innings are not that impressive to me.

With an offense like the Brewers have that often isn’t enough to win.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

So, being the best in baseball isn't good enough for you? Good luck never being pleased then....

The Brewers have really been unlucky the last few weeks.

Just about every pitcher that faces them has one of his best outings of the season.

Not sure why you care so much what pleases me.

I really don't care, actually. But to say crap like Burnes, who has statistically been the best pitcher in baseball since 2020, is a "supposed ace" just flies so far against the face of reality that it's hard to ignore.

Brosseau appears determined to prove that he’s also not the answer to our needs.

C’mon men!

Not sure what his splits against lefties have been recently but I don't think they are good at all.

Actually the cubs are pretty bad but we are worse.

I’d trade Happ, Hoerner, Wisdom, Contreras straight up for their counter parts on the Brewers. Probably Morel as well.

Honest question: based on what they’ve shown this year are there any position players you’d actually want to see return in ‘23?

Caratini? Jace Petersen? Maybe Tellez and Renfroe? Adames is fine as a shortstop but he went from budding superstar to a guy who they easily let walk with six years service time.

That should do it.

That should do it to the Brewers psyche!

They no more this rut likey!

They have woken up the giant!

The Brewers from now will be a tyrant!

Just Tellez and Renfroe. They're doing what they're supposed to do, hitting home runs. Everyone else is a disappointment.

Caratini is fine as a backup C.

I don't expect (well, hope...really) Adames to have a sub .300 OBP next year. I'd bring him back. Even at that, he's a 30 HR-capable SS who's more suited for hitting 6th.

Renfroe and Rowdy I'd look for upgrades, but I wouldn't hesitate to bring them back if *obvious* upgrades couldn't be had.

Urias is a solid-ish super sub. and utility guy if you don't bring back Peterson.

Adames is fine as a shortstop but with his contact and OBP performance this year, he’s Jose Hernandez II stead of Corey Seager II

Just checking in to see when they are going to do something about the sparks we have waiting in AAA for us. Or if we will just let another couple weeks playing .200 baseball go by. If they have mailed it in just let us know so we don’t invest emotions.
