Seems right. But needing 4 innings of work from the bullpen seems to add a bit more “must win” to the game outcome besides the playoff chase implications. Need a shutdown 6th inning. Then put some crooked numbers on the board, so the lower tier relievers can secure the win.

Any decent catcher free agents-to-be?  A Grandal-type contract would be ideal as they evaluate whether Feliciano can become a primary catcher.

There is no situation that we should be pinch hitting Taylor for Mitchell. None. Mitchell got a hit the other day against a lefty. He is a top 75 prospect who was drafted to play every day. Why would we want to start the insanity of he can't hit against a lefty in the 7th inning?? Counsell basically tells his players you can't do this. Taylor is not going to do much there so now in the 9th inning you are going to see Taylor against a righty in a big spot.

Taylor mechanics are a mess right now. It's either major surgery or change of scenery.
