Will this season ever end?

The 2022 Brewers don’t deserve to be in the playoffs

Williams is not a closer

How many heartbreaks can one team dole out n a year?

A team that has zero mental toughness.   Zero

Between the Twins and Brewers, I’ve seen about 20 gut-wrenching losses this season. I’m so over 2022.

You also tried telling us they were both good teams *****.

Well.  Maybe they can make another video trying to rally the fans for their fake wild card race

one of the most unlikeable sports teams of my lifetime which really has a bunch of decent guys     Just am unlikeable team to watch

We can all look forward to next year's very important 41st anniversary of the time the franchise came in 2nd place.

Usually when people say need I say anything more, they don't say anything more. ;)

Well…..I had a few good beers, and I have been extremely frustrated with this team for weeks, if not months so I had to add some more frustration!

It's too bad our players aren't as good at baseball as our social media team is at hyping up a playoff series that will never happen.

Oh man is Yelich hard to watch play baseball.

Only 976 more games left to watch him.

Well, the Brewers are still pretty good. The Twins lost something like 2,300 days to the IL. Both are disappointments but in very different ways. At the end of the day that doesn’t matter in regards to team record but it certainly changes the fan experience.

Wonder how much different things would be if they had landed Reynolds last year at the deadline.

Reynolds isn't superman.

They needed a hell of a lot more than him, and he hasn't had a great season either.

If Phillies go winless in the next 4, we must win only 2 of 4.

If Phillies go 1-3 in the next 4, we must win only 3 of 4.

If Phillies go 2-2 in the next 4, we must win 4 of 4.

If Phillies go 3-1 or 4-0 in the next 4, we get an early start on 2023 championship season preparations!

No exasperations!

Everyone, take a deep breath. You’re all fans of the same team and things are going to hell in a hand basket. Remember that you’re not mad at each other, you’re mad at what’s happening on the field.

It all went downhill in late July when you said that the Brewers making the playoffs was almost a given. ?

My superstitious grandmother would have rapped you for that kind of jinx.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Plus it doesn’t matter.      If we are up one run in the ninth we will give up two.   If we are up two we will give up three.    If we are up three we will give up four.    Who cares about Reynolds’s when the bullpen gives up runner after runner and homer after homer.    It’s a joke      Throw strikes.   God

A Phils loss, a Brewers win tomorrow, and we're tied.

Deal me in.

1 game out technically

Hopefully you can bluff.   Because the hand your dealt sucks

Yep. I'd rather be 1 game out, than 16 games out.

That's level-headed. It doesn't belong here, especially after some of the losses the team has experienced. The frustration is totally understandable though. I suppose it's why I seldom/never enter an IGT while the game is going on.

Anyway, when you're playing one of the most important games of the year, the opposing starter is dealing, and you see him have to leave due to injury, you just won the lottery. Then you proceed to leave men on base & strike out sixteen times. Fans complain about a team not having enthusiasm or fire, and it's usually garbage. But the focus, the intensity that it takes to extend an AB, to foul off tough pitches, to take difficult borderline stuff, It isn't non-existent with this team, but it's very fleeting. And opponents who are having a shell of the season we're having are better at it than us way too often.

Don't know if DW is a closer in future seasons. He's been successful more often than not, but his 8th inning performances have been much better in his career. I guess we'll see.

IMO Craig Counsell will be gone, if & only if he chooses to give the job up. And that's doubtful.

Nothing is getting "blown up".

Leaving a closer in until he actually gives up the lead is something that happens all the time, with all teams. A bigger question is, did he feel good to go after 52 pitches on Wednesday & Friday, or did he just SAY he was? If it's the latter you need to know his personality & save him from himself.

One thing CC would need to do next year is learn to trust talented kids in the pos player group. Would love to hear why TT was the choice today over Mitchell.
