If you go back to the predictions thread or wherever we started posted those, this is sort of the season I anticipated but not for any genius reasons. I just had the feeling that 13 wins 3x in a row was impossible enough, that a struggle season felt overdue.

I'll admit they look worse than I ever imagined though. But I don't see a reason to give up on the season. Disclaimer: I am NOT predicting a Super Bowl, but go back to the 2010 season.  There is admittedly way more talent in the skill position group on that roster but the team was struggling BADLY on offense up through about 3/4 mark of the season. They were even 3-3 after two pretty bad OT losses to the Redskins and Dolphins.

The NFL season is more of a marathon than the once a week format would have you believe. It is long and transformational and you just have to be in the dance at the end.

That team was also dealing with key injuries all season long and had 16 players put on IR but had the depth to get by. This team certainly doesn't have the talent or the depth to overcome that, not to mention this team is just not very good, whether it be lack of talent or coaching.

I think it’s time to R E L A X about the Packers.

They have struggled against mediocre teams with backup QBs and it’s really hard to see how the offense is going to improve with a patchwork offensive line, a collection of has been or never was receivers, and Rodgers looking like he’s checking out.

They look like a team that’s headed for maybe 6-8 wins and nowhere near the playoffs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Off topic but I don't understand how the Bucs are down 14-0 vs. Carolina. That team has the talent even with their injury problems.

I have relaxed. I have no emotional attachment to this game or team right now.

Their offense has deserted Tampa Bay as much as Brady has deserted his family.

Never go against the family, Tom.

So obviously a pass, but since that hit a linemans helmet first is that considered illegal touching?

Remember what Yoda said:
