Mitchell has me so giddy right now. Making contact and lifting the ball. If that continues=superstar

Glad to see you are coming around... ;)

Mitchell’s eligible for ROY, right? Gonna be cool when Mitchell, Turang, Wiemer and Frelick go 1 through 4 in ROY voting (in no particular order)

Forgot how annoying Bill Schroeder’s love for Arenado is. At least we don’t have to hear his praise of Molina any more. He’s a Cardinal, Bill! Evil!

Every single time a ball is hit to Arenado we have to hear how great he is with the glove, even when he doesn't make a play like last inning. So over it.

Why wouldn't we hit him at the top of the lineup? He's one of the best on-base threats in the game and has speed...

I can repeat myself - Frelick is a better hitter with equal speed & plays better defense

Yelich can be a wonderful sub & bench bat

When the bullpen can potentially use a break in 5 days and Woodruff throws 7 and 1/3 because his arm is fresh... remember this moment.

Even worse in that scenario if the bullpen is dead 4 days from today and needs that from BW. Then what if he doesn't make it through 4?

Well, Yelich is going to play whether we like it or not. There's 160 million reasons why. Frelick will be up in due time. God knows, I've been probably the loudest advocate for that on here. Yelich will then move to DH next season. But he's actually been pretty good since Counsell moved him to leadoff last year. Not nearly worth enough what we're paying him for, but it's something..

I was excited when I saw Yelich attacking first pitch strikes in Spring Training but it looks like he is going back to his old style.

They try that little league 1st 3rd steal 3/4 times a year and the last time it worked was with Arcia.

Counsil got lucky Payamps didn't explode after pulling Woody after 84 pitches and now the little league steal backfires.

I get really angry every time I think about how the Cardinals were paid to take Nolan Arenado...

True but I remember there being a lot of debate about whether or not he could hit outside Coors Field (don't shoot the messenger)

I love this opposite field and make contact approach of these rookies… it won’t always work and they will struggle sometime , but man it’s refreshing to see less K’s and more shooting the ball oppo
