None of those errors led to runs so pretty sure that has nothing to do with the score being 3-0.

You are missing the point.

Go ahead, blame the ump for swing at pitches in the dirt over and over. I’m sure the umpire lean over and tickled the batter to cause it.

Maybe his calling low curveballs that are balls strikes had an effect on those swings at pitches in the dirt??

He didn't miss the point, you moved the goal post.  Not having a clue what is a strike and what is not will tend to make hitters chase pitches.

You don't think the ump's horrendous strike zone has forced the Brewers players to expand their zones? Gallen's curveball has 50+ inches of vertical break. When guys have no clue what is going to be called a strike it leads to chasing crap in the dirt. Brewers weren't chasing anything egregious until that second inning when Gallen's strike zone was as big as the Grand Canyon.

The strikezone being 4 inches wider cause guys to swing at pitches 2 feet farther out of the zone. Seems like a stretch. Especially since guys kept watching the same pitches get called for a strike without swinging the bat.

No one seems to make a peep when the Brewers get a call while pitching or when a strike gets called a ball while batting.

Were the calls more lopsided one way? Maybe, but let’s not act like the Brewers didn’t get a boatload of calls in their favor in this dumpster fire either. The D Backs didn’t look like they were trying to hit a piñata blindfolded.

Just take the L here, man...I'll be glad to pull the umpire report card up for you tomorrow morning.

If you think the calls the Brewers got were as impactful as the one's Gallen got then I don't know what to tell you. I get it you feel the need to be contrarian and defend umps, but acting like Gallen and the DBacks weren't huge benefactors from this ump tonight then you're hopeless.

Did you not watch Wilson pitch.  They looked just as lost.  It's not just that the zone was big, it was inconsistent as well.  It's not like they are hitting against little league pitchers. These are good as it is and having that kind of zone will make guys chase.  The D'Back have chased plenty of pitches too.

Burnes and Woodruff pitching the next two nights. Great opportunity to take the series, still.

Hopefully Burnes actually shows up.

Of course they were? Never denied that?

It seems you don’t want to acknowledge the Brewers have played absolutely atrocious. I’m not sure perfect umpiring was worth 4+ runs.

He's a pro. Gallen got it figured out tonight (with the help of the ump albeit). I have every confidence Corbin will do the same.
