Wacha started well, but a career 4 ERA pitcher, can the rookies find their on base potential again to build that pressure on offense again?

Also liking more and more that if Voit goes somewhere (such as Philly) then Brosseau as a defensive upgrade at 1B and the way he's hit in spring training and so far, I like it a lot.

Would love Wiemer to break out and really get into one, he's done okay vs fastballs, but he's whiffed a ton against breaking pitches, do doubt on for a steady diet of them again today

I hope this is our only long west coast trip of the year.    I hate these

It's the longest western trip of the year.  The Brewers travel to Colorado (not so late) and SF (on a weekend at least) in early May, and then to Dodger Stadium midweek in August.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

A couple #52's matched up!

It's not in the Cards for the Padres when we play Pick-up 52 tonight!

Lauer will be fresh and fine like a spring flower!

Wacha won't be able to handle the Brewers hacka!

San Diego is close enough to LA that Lauer will think he's pitching against the Dodgers...right?

Former home park, too, so he'll be comfortable. More importantly, Petco Park eats up long fly-balls better than pretty much any ballpark out there.

Owen Miller at 2B and Wiemer in CF as Turang and Mitchell get a day off.

I imagine Wiemer gets a day off this weekend.

Wiemer got the day off yesterday but yes he might get a day off if Brosseau keeps hitting the ball.

Your nightly Jackson Chourio update:

Just ripped an absolute rocket 3-run jack off the #8 ranked MLB prospect in RHP Eury Peréz. The foul pole may have yelled: "Ouch!". Hung a breaking ball. He had struck out on two previous pitches that made it away and outside. Not a dis one!

And here is our collective moment of Zen:
