Interesting pickup. Former 1st round pick all the way back in 2017. He clearly has battled a lot of injuries because he's only thrown 57 total innings since 2020.

I seen the name and wondered what happened, think a number of posters thought the Crew might pick him or projections were Brewers to pick him.

If he has options what a possible steal for the season.

Could be a steal, sure, but the flip side is to know that the only way this is possible is the slew of Brewer players going on IL so earlythis season...which sucks

The Brewers and Mariners seem to like each other's pitching rejects.

He's a legit reclamation project.  I'm just glad he had options so we could send him to AAA.  Would have been really disappointed if he was placed on the roster ala Chi Chi last year.  Let's see what the coaches can do to tweak whatever needs tweaking.  Maybe see him later in the year if he shows progress.
