Saving the trade up for the 4th apparently. Back in to dreaded 3rd? Or multi 4ths.

I think the smartest thing to do here is trade out into the fourth then trade up to get back into the 4th again 😅. Unless, of course, I love the pick. If I love the pick, the curse is lifted.

Kraft!!!

very nice - should be a great fit for the LeFleur offense and he and Musgrave should compliment each other well

Another TE.  But not Washington.  I seen some TE evaluator for this draft rank him 3rd ahead of Musgrave while the other guy had him 6th.  I actually like doubling down on TE. Just wish it were Washington.  Injury concerns or not a top 40 guy falling to 80 now or worse on what at worst is a 1 year delay injury. Too bad they can't choose the value injured here.

Kraft is a nice pickup. Great athlete

RAS Score is top 10 (site is slow loading right now) for TEs

Imagine how much better all these young pass catchers will do getting to work with their QB during the offseason...

Achane going to Miami is silly. There is SO much speed in that offense. How did the NFL let that happen?! 😂

He was an All-American Track and Field guy in HS and he qualifies for the Olympic 200M where he runs a 20.20. Nuts. He also can catch the heck out of the ball out of the backfield or in the slot. Mike McDaniel is giddy.

Does GB have enough draft ammo to slide up at the end of round 3 and draft a safety?  Battle...or go for the home run and pick Ringo with the intent of his best NFL position being safety where he can let his freakish athleticism shine in the deep middle??

Would love this - they have plenty of ammo to do so

The 49ers just drafted the first kicker (Moody from Michigan) in the 3rd Round. What in the absolute...huh?! When teams do these things, I have thoughts.

Pretty happy with this class so far. Only issue I have is that we went into this draft with a big problem at safety and we still have a big problem at safety.

2 bigger bodied S on the board one I thought seen mentioned here or mocked to us. Antonio Johnson at 6-2

Added note for Johnson. Relooking at S rankings and Johnson had a few 2nds behind Branch with being top 50 for draft. ESPN happens to rank him 100.

The other DL Skinner at 6-4 at this 4th rd tier. Both would be the tallest Safety when selected thus far drafted. Maybe a Barry trait for his S? and reason waiting.

Skinner never seen high but the 90s-120s was consistent.

That didn't seem all that impressive. Impressive was where that QB dropped that ball for him.  Think if he'd continued cross he would look far more impressive. Gotta watch bit more video.

Watched a lot of highlight film.

I want to really like him because he's always making plays, the IQ seems better than the defenders.

I like him but he never gave me Wow vibes just what a nice play vibes. I think as the slot WR for Love he's going to find him a reliable target for 3rd downs. Randall Cobb-lite.  The route running was spot on. The QB and him were certainly in sync watching him drop corner routes, back shoulder throws, sideline plays, and zone recognition.

Individually though, I don't see HR maker on his own. A defense breaks down he's making them pay for chunks of yards. His returns again, aren't HR makers but he would pull off the 30-40yard gains.  NFL though, i struggle to see him pulling off many over 30.  He was used a number of times rushing in motion, which fits some of MLF offense. I like him as a fit to the team. Clear slot WR. I worry on the step up with game IQs and the speed now facing, how much it knocks what he's winning at in his game vs College level players.

Ringo’s fall is less surprising since that’s been the story with the other tweener-type CB/safety guys.

I’m much more surprised by the fact that Dawand Jones and Adebawore are still there. I liked either as possible 2nd round line picks, so they’d be high on my list for 116.

Might be a tweener, but Ringo's 6-2 and incredibly athletic...I think he could develop into a fantastic safety and is an intriguing option at the top of round 4 if GB wants to go get him.

Oh, I agree completely. Just noting that the pre-draft narrative of this being a poor overall safety draft has largely played out the first two days as guys like Branch and Ringo have fallen. I have almost no reservations about taking anyone with good athleticism on day 3.

I like the Packers haul so far but I think I'd like it better if it was Musgrave, Branch, Downs.

The Eagles are literally the Georgia Bulldogs of the NFL. They get CB Kelee Ringo now too? My goodness. They now have five of the key starters from that vaunted historic 2021 Bulldogs defense. Simply put: that is nuts.
