Ethan Murray just hit a HR to right center easily clearing the wall by a good 10+ feet. That's an impressive power display. He's been extremely hot the last month and is looking like a guy we should all certainly be keeping a closer eye on.

I've been talking about him all week in my report. IF this is the bat we are suddenly dealing with, well, he is one of the best defenders in the entire system. He has an incredible glove. Extremely underrated athleticism. This is definitely one of the more intriguing stories of 2023.

Vieira has been phenomenal. He has legitimate stuff too. This is a man who has paid his dues and is definitely deserving of a call-up.

What's crazy is the report on him was amazing stuff but absolutely zero control. If he had control issues, he certainly hasn't shown them this season. Only 4 BB and 1 HBP in 13.1 IP.

Yup. Of course now that we talk about it he's going to have a five walk 1/3 IP. 😅

He has been the very definition of lights out. He took the Closer role for Sweet and just sprinted away with it. He shuts the door.

Biloxi kind of just lost themselves the game today. 6 runs on 16 hits is not very good. They coughed up leads in the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings. They had a PO, CS, and a bad send for an out at home. They also grounded into 2 double plays. A very winnable game that they unfortunately choked away.

They should probably be up 3-0 in the series and 2 games behind Pensacola for 1st place in the South Division. Instead they are 6 games back.

Is Felix Valerio back? Still just 22 years old.

8 for his last 12.

If Felix re-establishes himself & my guy Cam Devanney gets his groove back, along with the way Murray has been performing you suddenly have some real INF possibilities to go with the young OFs.
