Guys like Hendricks and Steele seem like bad matchups for Joey. That "deceptive" stuff turns the aggression in on itself.

His pitch count wasn’t that high, but they finally put some on him in the 6th. 

They have let him throw over 100 pitches to complete 7 innings, and with only 67 pitches through 5, with two more quick innings I think they would have let him at least start the 8th. 

This is probably his last appearance before the All Star break, and with the heavy work in their bullpen the last few days I would have expected him to go into the 8th if his pitch count was around 90. But, the Brewers 6th took that off the table.
