Yelich About to Move Into Brewers' Top Ten Positional WAR

I just happened to look this up because I was interested in seeing if he had cracked the top ten for the Brewers and my timing was quite fortuitous.

Yelich has 21.4 bWAR in a Brewer uniform.

Here are the top ten:

4.	Cecil Cooper	30.7

Hopefully he continues on his current pace and surpasses Cooper for 4th at least.

He has a good chance of surpassing Cooper but very little chance of catching Braun.

If he catches Braun, he's literally earned a plaque in Cooperstown.

That's a good point. Yeah, he's probably in Cooperstown at that point and the extension looks like one of the best of all time, on the level of Scherzer.

Agreed.  I was looking at that list and thinking how Ryan played his whole career with the Brewers and couldn't catch Molly.  And after The Ignitor left, he was an all-star twice more, nearly won a batting title and MVP, 

75.7 career WAR, almost as good as Yount.

Andddddd Yelich did it! He's now tied with Oglivie for 10th on the all-time Brewers list.
