Nice win yesterday that I wasn't able to watch because I had the audacity to cross the Wisconsin border by six miles and visit my cabin.

It sure is nice to type Burnes as the starter one day, then follow that up with Woodruff the next. Today appears to be a nationally televised game on Fox so keep that in mind.

Can’t get a sweep without winning the first two so let’s get this one.

quick question.   I’m too lazy to look it up.    Do rosters expand in September?

Yes. To 28 players

Brewers really could use a Woodruff gem and a nice offensive game to let the A-pen rest. Williams, Payamps, Uribe would all be pitching for the 4th time in 5 days and Peguero threw 21 pitches last night. 6 strong from Woodruff with 5+ from the offense would be very ideal.

Wouldn’t it be nice to win 7-2.    Why does it have to be extremes with this team.   Either win by 15 runs or some drawn out one run grinder

I’d be really happy to see him pitch 5 really good innings or around 80 pitches. I worry that he’s reinjure himself if he goes too hard too soon.

He went 5 IP with 85 pitches last start. Don't see why he would need to throw fewer pitches this outing.

Very true. If he stays about there for a while, I'd be ok with that. Baseball is pretty binary in this respect, is it not? You're either healthy, or you're not.

I wonder if there is a study of pitching arm injuries in cold spring weather vs warm summer weather.

I don't know if we'll win the division, but I feel pretty confident at this point that the Brewers will make the playoffs, barring a series of pitching injuries.

Confidence is reflected in their roughly 80% playoff odds.

80% only comes in 50% of the time

Not how it works. Only two possible outcomes, yes, but 80% chance of one particular outcome happening.

Congrats to Levering on getting the National broadcast.

We are pretty lucky to keep having good broadcasters come through MKE.

Gotta be a Uecker effect of some sort.
