What in the world is going on this game? The brewers have been pissing on the ball all game for hard hit outs, the dodgers are blooping in anything. I feel like our xBA is 200 points higher than theirs today yet they are up 3.

I mean, I hope nobody is complaining about the offense. Anderson has looked bad but aside from him it's been a lot of hard hit outs today...

If we can beat out the Cardinals and Cubs in the same season, that's a World Series win for the Brewers.  

We can't stack up against big-market, big-payroll juggernauts for a real World Series victory ... just the facts ... stinks to the max!

We've outplayed the dodgers today with our 4th starter against what I assume is one of their top starters still. Bad luck today. I think the Brewers can hold their own against any team in the NL aside from probably the braves.

See that's one of the reasons Brewers are mediocre. Guys hits someone with a pitch. Swing at the next one hit into double play. Dodgers would be taking until you show you got it.

Watching these two games to date it's pretty clear Brewers are kind of just playing out the string. It sucks when you have no chance to win.

I think Frelick somehow shook up Wiemer. Not sure how or why but he's lost his MOJO since he showed up. Brewers needed to send him down weeks ago. Not doing him any favors.

Look, winning the division is cool if we can get it. It's an accomplishment. It's something. 

But it's nearly impossible to see this team giving the Braves or Dodgers even a remotely competitive series. 

I think in '18, and '21, it pretty much felt like, we've got a shot to make some noise in the playoffs. This year is a little different. It'd be great to get in, and maybe we could even win a series, but the road ends there.

I never expected them to do more than win the division and am not even convinced that they will do that. They just did not get enough offense in the offseason or at the deadline. What is so frustrating is they had their challenges offensively last year and they did nothing of substance to correct it.
