The Dodgers always do this, and have always done this, because of how brutal the traffic is from 4-8pm.

Trust me, I lived there for six years.  The only thing that I've seen that compares is the Kennedy from O'Hare to downtown Chicago during both rush hours, which annually is anywhere from #1 to #5 in worst freeway traffic in the U.S..

It's hard to believe that's anyone's commute. It's brutal. And heinous.

Stupid worthless contact play.strikes again.

660 OPS in August coming into tonight

It's almost like he should actually get a day or two fully off instead of DH-ing so he doesn't wear down.  0.692 August OPS for Contreras btw, who also gets his "days off" DH-ing.

Jeez, they're going to find a way to not score this inning, too

This utter ineptitude at getting guys home on 3rd with 0 outs is inexcusable.  At what point do we change our philosophy?  Will it take 1,191 outs at home on the contact play to do so?  Who knows.  We haven't changed yet.  Maybe #1,192 is the fricking charm.

Luck stuck. Brewers are a bad offensive baseball team and the manager isn't helping them out imo. No excuses.

I mean there's literally nothing you can do about Santana's. 107.1 MPH and .610 xBA. Frelick's at-bat was terrible though.

Ready for the solo HR from Betts or Freeman.

Major league hitters get things done.  Then there are the Brewers.

Anyone that has anything to do with hitting in the organization needs to be selling used cars next year.

Why in the hell are you running the contact play with nobody out??

To be fair, if Taylor doesn't break for home there the Dodgers probably turn a double play and he's standing on 3rd with 2 outs.  you can't read and react to exactly where a ball is hit towards the middle if a pitcher will field it or not.  Middle IF is at double play depth in that situation, so, unless it's hit right towards you at third base if it's a grounder you head for home trying to scratch that 1st run of the game across.

If you're Burnes you go back out knowing that if you give up a run you're going to lose. Then in arbitration Brewers blame you for not winning enough games. It's wild.

Ozzie Timmons MLB career was similar to a used car salesman.

Darn near every batter Levering whines about the Brewers bad luck.

Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I absolutely do not understand how the hitting coaches are currently employed by the Brewers organization. This is a business, not a family.

I mean, if you think there's been no batted ball luck for the Dodgers in this series, you'd have to be blind. Not responsible for the Brewers not scoring runs, but it's been there.
