TBH, I thought it was no big deal to trade him because I didn't think THAT much of his hitting.  (Reason 78,965 why I am not a GM.)  Maybe he needed to be "rejected" before he could bear down and shine.

Or maybe he just had a few good at bats in the course of a long season?

Cursory look appears to have a flatter bat path.

Will never understand why guys think you have to finish your swing above your shoulder to hit home runs.

For me the perfect bat path matches the pitch plane and is usually finishing just below the shoulder.

My opinion is really bad  hitting coaching on the big league club.

The knob of the bat should follow the ball’s path everything else is irrelevant.

Yeah , seems he hasn't been driving the ball like he did earlier ! Have to say I haven't seen all his AB's lately .
